Why people take the private boat
Families, mostly. With a boat to yourselves we choose calm, shallow spots, the kids get in and out as often as they want, and we head back the moment they have had enough — no waiting for a group of strangers.
Then couples who want the statues to themselves before the day boats arrive, and photographers who need to come back to the same spot three times for one shot. If you want to leave at six in the morning, we leave at six in the morning.
We build the day together
Send me a message with your dates, how many you are and what you want to see. I tell you what is realistic that week, what the tide will be doing, and we fix the route, the departure time and the meeting point together. Nothing is locked in until you are happy with it.
Half a day is enough for the turtles, the statues and a coral garden. A full day adds a beach lunch stop and a slower pace between the three islands.
Photos of your group
I take photos in the water and send them to you afterwards on WhatsApp, at no extra cost. Most people come away with better pictures than they would get with their own phone, because I know how close you can get to a turtle without pushing it away.
What it costs
IDR 1,000,000 for the boat for two hours, and IDR 1,800,000 for a half day of about four hours, for up to four people. The price is for the boat, not per person — at four, the cost per head drops fast. Larger groups are possible, the boat takes up to twenty: tell me how many you are and I give you the price. Cash in rupiah on the day, no deposit.

How many people fit on the boat? +
Four on the private boat at that price. We can go bigger, up to twenty on board, but tell me the number first because it changes the price and sometimes the route.
Can we go somewhere that is not on the website? +
Yes, and that is a big part of what I do: island hopping, fishing with local fishermen, sunrise photo sessions, transfers, trips over on Lombok. If it can be arranged around here, ask me.
Do we pay a deposit? +
No. You pay in cash in rupiah on the day. A message is enough to hold the boat.
